Yule Island is a 3 and half hour drive to the West of Port Moresby followed by a 20 minute boat ride in the Kairuku Hiri District Central Province. Natural Spring waters actually bubble out of the beach and a few other spots but Fresh Clean drinking water is a Problem.

Neighbouring Mainland coastal villages like Delena and Poukama do come also to collect water.

To Put a large Southern Cross Tank to supply the Island would be a dream come true.

We have a population of less than 5000 and have 6 villages

My Team has estimated approximate costs of K80,000 to start off the process of purchasing tanks, Pump and fittings. Villagers will provide Manpower and Labour for logistics and installation of the tanks at no cost to help out their community.
